CONSULTATION
Cll takes the idea to the people in a pan India visioning exercise. The participative exercise yields the document India@75: The People's Agenda
2009 - 2010
ADVOCACY
CII facilitates convergence of stakeholders such as ministers, bureaucrats, Industrialists and civil society to sensitize them and to align their aspirations with the vision. It is well received.
2010 - 2011
STRATEGY
Cll deliberates and evolves strategy to mainstream the vision. Collaborative approach is seen as key to the shaping of Indla@75.
2012
FOUNDATION
CII helps set up the India@75 Foundation as a public charitable trust on 13 July 2012. Empowered with an eminent Board of Trustees, the Foundation gets the mandate to act as conscience keeper of the vision and increase its adoption.
2012 - 2014
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP
Foundation seeds vision elements into manifestos during state and national elections; design prototypes such as Skills Enterprise Plan Competition and Skillpedia portal and holds India@75 dialogues with politicians. Also begins volunteering programmes to leverage demographic strength as an enabler and driver to meet the vision objectives. Vision elements are cascaded into immediate, short, medium and long term goals.
2015 - 2018
COLLABORATIONS
Works to establish the culture of collaboration in the country. Helps the Government establish volunteering programmes (MyGov), creates collaboration platforms such as City Connect, National Volunteering Grid and Functional Literacy Programme.
2018 -2020
SCALE UP
Scale up of the vision begins. Public discourse in the form of televised panel discussions and dialogues begin. The India@75 Summit held successfully. The multi-stakeholder meet throws up Important areas of focus for the country in its journey towards and beyond 2022.
2020
EVALUATION
CII and India@75 worked to accelerate collaborations between different stakeholder groups and also drew a more current agenda for the vision.
2021 - 2023
INDIA@100 VISIONING
Impact analysis of India@75 work undertaken to accordingly embark upon India@100 pan India visioning exercise to shape a blueprint for India in the year 2047. Also, collaborated with the Union Govt to celebrate 75 years of independence under the theme of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, through series of conferences, consultations, and initiatives capturing citizens' aspirations for India@2047.
2024
FOUNDATION
Draft vision document of India@100 ready with BCG as the knowledge partners. India@75 Foundation transformed into India@100 Foundation after passing of the resolution by the Board Members through absolute consensus.
